About Me

I am a visual artist and I specialise in the use of textiles. I use a vast array of techniques and materials in a decorative manner to create my art.

My passion of fairytales is the key source of my inspiration, referencing tales that we are all familliar with from an early age. I am interested in the traditional tales by Brothers Grimm and Hans Christian Andersen, exploring the darker and more sinister elements of the popular tales.

In all my work, I strive to create pieces of intricute detail, creating lush and seductive, textured surfaces, often heavily encrusted and decorative. The techniques and details that I create, and the process of making is as important to me as the subject that I refrence.
